VOLUNTEER TODAY
LHPR is financially dependant on goodwill and donations. The Not For Profit Organization (NFP) is run on a voluntary basis so there are no wage costs involved and we keep our administration costs at a minimum.
Donations and fundraising is our only source of funding. Please give what you can. No donation is too small. Every penny donated to us is spent on either the rescue of horses, hay, feed, buckets, farrier and vet care, transport, medication, injections, fuel etc. To make a much appreciated donation click the orange paypal button to the right - Thank You.
Rehoming is not only very rewarding but its what makes our work possible. For every horse we rehome, there is always another animal waiting to come into our care. CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON REHOMING FROM LHPR

FUNDRAISING
LHPR is not a government agency and we must fundraise for all our income. While we host our own fundraising events throughout the year its never enough so we need YOU to fundraise a little for us. Coffee morning, cake sale, sponsored walk are just some ideas!
LHPR is a voluntary organisation and fully depends on the kindness of volunteers to carry out its aims and life-saving work. Whether its volunteering at the rescue centre, at a fundraising event or out on the frontline rescuing and transporting horses alongside the welfare team. If you can help out in anyway we want to hear from you! All volunteers should be over the age of 18 and 21 in some cases. We have three different volunteer positions: TRANSPORT VOLUNTEER, YARD VOLUNTEER (Hands On) and FUNDRAISING & ADMINISTRATION. All volunteers must have equine experience and be able to offer a certain level of committment.
